Award Programs
Awards are presented for outstanding achievements in several categories during the annual Midwest CVB Educational Conference. The awards are:
- Middy's - These awards recognize excellence in tourism and marketing programs. A team of judges, who are experts in the field of communication, advertising and publications, select the winners in each category.
- People's Choice Award - This award allows seminar delegates to select the marketing campaign they deem deserving of recognition.
- Don Patterson Award - Recognizes an outstanding OACVB member who has worked to advance the association and the tourism industry.
- Friend of the Industry Award - This award offers bureaus the chance to recognize an individual in their area who has worked to advance the tourism industry.
