President's Letter
Dear Members:
Here we are
at the end of Summer, this year has just flown by. I seem to always be running to catch up. We all have lots to do and not enough time to
do it. But I hope you have set aside
some time for our Annual Meeting and Educational Program, September 20th
and 21st. Scott and his
committee have put together a great program.
Following our Board Meeting and the
Middy Lunch, Sandi Talley from DMAI will be here to speak on challenges and
opportunities facing CVB’s. Following
Sandi’s program we will hear from the Executive Director of Ohio’s
major tourism organization in a round table discussion and finish up with a
chance to talk together within the industry problems, solutions, etc.
Dee has put together a fun evening for those who get here for dinner on Wednesday. She has made special arrangements to be a part of a wine making event were everyone attending gets a bottle of OACVB wine. So plan to be in New Philadelphia on September 20th and 21st.
