Newly Updated Directors Handbook now available

Newly Updated Directors Handbook now available   OACVB members have another resource at their fingertips thanks to the newly updated OACVB Director’s Handbook.  

The handbook contains more than 25 chapters of valuable information for destination marketing professionals.

Topics include understanding your bed tax, sample job descriptions, how to work with government officials and tourism marketing how-tos ranging from Visitors Guides to working with the leisure market, the group tour market and the travel media.   The Handbook is available in the Members Only section of this web site. Members can receive the Handbook on CD by contacting the state office at 888-505-9552. Special thanks to Debbie Stamper and her committee for taking on the project, plus to all members who contributed.
