Visit Gahanna’s signature “Herbal Cocktail Trail” is a collaborative marketing effort created to provide a memorable “Herb Capital” experience with a trail map and passport to enjoy seasonal herb-infused libations from local business partners that live up to the city’s Herb Capital title. The trail passport is released semiannually, (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter), and features new seasonal herbal cocktails and local partners, inspiring repeat visits to the area to see what’s new. Born from Gahanna’s official status as the Herb Capital of Ohio, the Herbal Cocktail Trail was originally launched in 2017, making it the first themed cocktail trail in the state.
Participants can pick up the Herbal Cocktail Trail Passport at any partner business or at the Gahanna Visitor Center and start planning their unique trail experience. They receive a passport stamp for the purchase of each of the signature herbal cocktails, inspired by seasonal herbs and ingredients. Once all stamps are collected, they can bring their completed passports to the Visitor Center to redeem them for a branded gift for achieving trailblazer status! The trail has become a popular experience for weekend getaways, friend gatherings, happy hours, and date nights. 2,000 passports have been distributed for the year.
