During 2022 we created a series of videos to highlight the communities found in the Grand Lake Region. Fort Recovery is a very small village located very near the Indiana border. It was the site of several battles in the 1790’s that changed the future of this young nation. The goal for the video we produced at Fort Recovery was to show the very interesting mix of small town charm and monumental history that makes it worth a visit.
The community has embraced the video as it it posted on the village website and on the sites of other civic organizations. It was not completed in time to be able to measure an increase in the number of visitors to the State Museum. We are hoping to use it to do so when they open in the spring.
