Employer Best Practices
Presented by: Rebecca Shope, Attorney at Shumaker Law Firm
Rebecca Shope is the Labor and Employment Regional Service Line Leader at Shumaker, Loop, and Kendrick LLP. Shope will highlight some important legal considerations and best practices in recruitment and hiring employees. In addition, she will discuss key termination issues that frequently arise. Lastly, she will cover some important legal updates and tips with respect to written policies and handbooks.

Mike Caputo is Founder & President of Cypress. He will share what the Tourism Promotion Districts (TPDs) are, what their launch in Ohio might look like and how that will impact CVBs. This presentation is a follow-up to the presentation that Tiffany Gallagher of Civitas gave in March.
