OACVB Educational Luncheon and Board Meeting

 Educational Luncheon 12:30-1:30PM
Recently, Short Term Rentals have been a concern for CVB’s because of the lodging tax dollars that are being left uncollected by rentals through platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO. These uncollected dollars are difficult to quantify. The OACVB Executive Committee is negotiating with companies that can provide the data needed to make the case to the state legislature that this needs to be fixed. If successful, the STR tax could generate millions of marketing dollars for CVB’s, Counties and Municipalities across the state.

Attend the February 24 Educational Luncheon to ensure your voice is heard and to help to determine the next steps that OACVB takes to secure STR data for the state and your CVB.

 Lunch will be provided.

Please plan to stay for the board meeting immediately following the educational luncheon. All OACVB members are OACVB board members. There is no cost to attend just the board meeting.
