The Visitors Bureau of Highland County’s website was recently overhauled to strengthen the organization’s online presence while educating and attracting customers. The site allows a clear path for visitors to navigate based on their primary goals (events, shopping, dining, staying). The website allows the organization to highlight key attractions, businesses and the benefits of visiting or living in Highland County. The new design also allowed for staff to easily update the site and monitor site activity and success. Since unveiled, over 5,000 unique visitors have visited the site and there has been an increase in interactions on the organization’s social media outlets.
