8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Breakfast and Briefing
Before meetings with legislators, the day begins with a Breakfast and Briefing from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. in the Horizon Suite of the Huntington Center. Here, the issues of importance to the industry will be reviewed so you can feel prepared for your meetings. This is also where you will receive position paper packets to leave behind in your meetings. A full, hot breakfast will be served.
9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Legislative Appointments
Legislative appointments will be scheduled for you during this window, based on the availability of the legislators. Please note that you could be partnered with others who have requested to meet with the same elected officials for these meetings. If you don’t request specific legislators to meet with, then appointments will be scheduled for you based on your zip code.
12 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
OACVB Board Meeting and Lunch
This will be an abbreviated OACVB board meeting. Boxed lunches will be available for those who register.
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Legislative Reception
A reception honoring legislators will be held in The Horizon Suite in the Huntington Center. All legislators and their staff members will be invited to attend and it is a great opportunity to meet with legislators from across the state.
