Miami County offers a variety of locally made and distributed beer, wine, cider, and whiskeys. With the growing popularity of craft spirits, many tourists look for these attractions while traveling. Our focus with these ads was to highlight our growing breweries, wineries, and distilleries as well as unique destinations that offer specialty drinks and meals you can’t find anywhere else.
Along with the wineries, breweries, and distilleries highlighted in these advertisements, Miami county is welcoming Crooked Handle Brewing to Downtown Piqua and Crafted n’ Cured, a charcuterie and craft beverage restaurant, to Downtown Troy. These will compliment the other unique restaurants we have perfectly.
Our goal was to reach a wide audience by placing our ads in a variety of local and national magazines. Travel Taste and Tour ad runs in the summer issue from July through September and is distributed to Barnes & Noble and Books a Million nationwide, Indigo Charters (Canada), as well as specialty retailers across the country reaching a total of 715,00 between its print and digital presence. Other ad influence includes West Virginia Living, reaching 121,500 from print and digital, Group Tour Media with over 18,00 impressions, This Local life, 4,000, Dayton Magazine, 45,500 from both print and digital, Premier Travel Media with 12,000 subscribers, and Ohio magazine, reaching a total of 95,000 including both print and digital.
